Phuket Pride Day Four – Thursday 25th

5-a-side football competition – afternoon

Following the success and popularity of the TSG Games here in Phuket in October 2012, the are including 4 sporting events in this year’s Phuket Pride Week, the forth of these is a 5-a-side football tournament, to be held at the brand new 5-a-side football pitches, behind the new Macro in Patong, address Soi Nanairuamchai, Patong (7°52’56”N & 98°17’50”E) see map of location below.

This will be a team competition with all teams playing each other on a point’s basis, leading to a knockout final. The competition will begin at 14:00 and is open to all nationalities.

We realise that playing football outdoors in the heat of the afternoon, will be challenging, but we will be providing FREE bottles of water for all the contestants and shaded areas for spectators and participants.

It is hoped that this tournament will be finished by 5pm, however, either way there will be a  mini-bus running from this venue at 4.30pm and if needed when the tournament ends for people with tickets (with mini-bus fee included) to the Boat Bar sunset beach Party at Iguana Bay which starts at 5pm.

The entry fee will be TB1500-00 per team.

There is no charge for spectators, who are encouraged to turn up and cheer on your favourite team. There are bar and food facilities near to the football pitches..

There will be prizes for the winning team of a free dinner for each team member at Club One Seven, plus certificates and medals. All contestants and supporters are invited to attend the Big Stage event at the soccer field on the Friday evening to see the winners presented with their prizes and medals.

The Boat Bar ‘Sunset beach party’ at Iguana Beach 5pm to 9pm

Iguana beach is a private bay in Phuket, 15-20 minutes drive from Patong. We have exculsive use of the beach for this amazing Sunset party.

Swim, dance, eat and party along with both Boat Bar’s resident Dj’s and  guest international Dj’s playing  your favorite tunes, whilst enjoying the beautiful Phuket sunset.

This 4 hours of fun includes a show from Boat bar, a bufet BBQ and free open bar for the first 2 hours (5pm to 7pm). A persentage of the profit from the 2^nd 2 hours bar will also be going to /  charities.

There will be a mini-bus service collection from Boat Bar at 4.30pm and collection from the beach at 9pm. Mini Bus cost is 100 Baht each way.

This is a ticket only event and tickets must be purchsed in advance as numbers are limited and mini-busses will need to be booked in advance.

Ticket Price:  1,500 Baht (excluding mini-bus service)

Soi Paradise Pride closing party 10pm to 11pm

The last party of the four Soi Paradise street parties happens tonight at 10pm with a street parade and shows on the street from many of the bars, fireworks and lots more.

Following on from the great preview heat night  held out in the street of Soi Paradise the Grand final will be held inside My Way  Bar.

The judging panel will consist of 5 people will be a cross section of people in diverse styles to ensure ‘fair play’ (NO bar or restaurant owners within Paradise will be allowed as judges)

The final 12 contestants will again compete in all 3 categories of:

Casual Wear

Freestyle

Beachwear/underwear

They will also be judged on looks, personality, sexiness and attitude.

Again everyone coming to watch this event will be encouraged to participate in the judging in the true Thai tradition of you giving flower garlands to your favourite contestant, the boy with the most flowers will clearly have an influence on the judges final decision in choosing the boy that will become Mr Gay Fong Kaew Phuket  and the runners up.

The prises for this, which are all supplied by Fong Kaew Mansions and Sponsors will be:

1st Prize  30,000 Baht cash

2^nd Prize  15,000 Baht cash

3^rd Prize   5,000 Baht cash

Plus there is then a bonus prize of 5,000 Baht  for a 4^th boy voted as the nights most popular boy!

So come and enjoy this night by giving flower garlands to your favourite boy, raising money for charity and helping him to maybe become one of the 4 lucky boys to win these great cash prizes.

Notes for participants:

Competitors are not limited to being Thai, all nationalities are welcome. The entry fee is 200 Baht .
