Phuket Pride Day Two – Tuesday 23rd

All day Pool competition by Kiss Bar & Sundowners

Following the success and popularity of the TSG Games here in Phuket in October 2012, theare including 4 sporting events in this year’s Phuket Pride Week, the second of these is a Pool competition, to be held at Sundowners Bar in Soi Paradise Patong.

There will be singles and Doubles competitions which will begin at 11:00. They are open to all nationalities and are planned to finish at 7.30pm in time for the Grand Charity auction at Backstage, just round the corner from Sundowners Bar.

The entry fee will be TB300-00 per person.

There is no charge for spectators, who are encouraged to turn up and cheer on your favourite person. There are bar and food facilities available at this venue.

Completed forms and fees must be left at Sundowners Bar, Paradise complex, Patong no later than the above mentioned date and time.

There will be cash prizes for the winners, plus certificates and medals. All contestants and supporters are invited to attend the Big Stage event at the soccer field on the Friday evening to see the winners presented with their prizes and medals.

Pre Grand Auction Thai buffet dinner at Connect 6pm to 7.30pm

An early dinner before your busy evening. Connect invite you to their Pride week special Thai bufet dinner, 20 thai dishes, soups and fresh fruits. Eat as much as you want for only 350 Baht (price includes 150 Baht for / charities.

Although there will be availability for a limited number of late arrivals, please pre-book your place at this event direct with Connect, as they want to have prepared enough food for everyone. They are expecting large numbers of people attending prior to the Grand Charity Auction at Backstage.

Grand Charity Auction at Backstage 7.30 to 10pm

Last year this event was a huge success and great fun raising over 50,000 Baht for charity, attended by so many people that it was not long before it was standing room only. This year we are hoping for an even bigger success and Backstage are already planning on acquiring more tables and chairs in preparation for even bigger numbers of people. Auction items last year included flat screen TV’s Weekend stays in Hotels, Thai artifacts, free dinners, spa visits and much more. All are donated free to be auctioned and Rob would love to hear from you if you have items you would like to donate to this fun night and help raise money for / charities.

Your Auctioneer Ian Philips, will be making sure that the event starts and ends on time for you to move to Soi Paradise for the Street party at 10pm.

Soi Paradise Street party 10pm to 11pm

The second of the four Soi Paradise street parties happens tonight at 10pm with a street parade and shows on the street from many of the bars. Also at James Dean & friends Bar there will a giant ‘Balloon pop’ 400 hundred balloons, hundreds of which will contain prizes for you to win.

For a donation to / charities of just 50 Baht per balloon, start popping and win many prizes.

Bachelor Bingo at Zag Club

Immediately after the Street Party finishes at 11pm, make sure you get into Zag Club for Bachelor Bingo. Zag Club is the exciting new club on Soi Paradise. Get there early to if you want a seat. Bachelor Bingo will be another first for Phuket Pride Week, and it promises to be a fun and crazy hour. There will be 2 games held, each with 3 winning opportunities: the 4 corners, any line across, or a full house.

The Prizes include:

There will be a lot of consolation prizes as well, so many of you will end up being winners anyway. Be sure to come and try to win a bachelor at Zag Club.

So why “Bachelor Bingo”? If you win one of these fantastic prizes you can take your partner or friend with you. But if you don’t have a partner, or your friend is not available (here is the big surprise), the Zag Club Coyote boys and staff have volunteered to be your dates. If you have not yet been to Zag Club and seen just how handsome and friendly their dancers and staff are, you should go and see. Imagine spending a day on the beach with these boys.

So if you are lucky enough to mark off the winning number on your card, just shout out “Bingo.” You then take your prize, nominate the companion of your choice, and you are all set for a great day or evening with a date. Bingo cards are available for a donation of 100 Baht for 1 card, 300 Baht for 5 cards, and only 500 Baht for 10 Bingo cards. The key to Bingo is the more cards you buy, the more your chances of winning. All the proceeds from the Bachelor Bingo tickets will go to /  Charities. All the prizes have been donated or arranged by Zag Club.

During the evening Zag Club will have a special drink price on Bachelor Bingo Breezers (Bacardi Breezers) reduced down from 150 Baht to a special Pride night price of just 69 Baht. These will be available from 11pm to 12am. After the Bingo games you can dance or chill at Zag Club with your new friends.
